How Your Match Works

Contributing to the 401(k) plan is one of the best ways to save for your future whether you contribute on a pretax basis or after-tax through the Roth 401(k) feature. Don't let this opportunity pass you by!

The company match for the 2017 calendar year will be based on the formula below:

  • 100% of elective associate contributions up to 3% of compensation, plus
  • 50% of elective associate contributions from 3-4% of compensation.

These safe harbor company matching contributions will also continue to be 100% vested, along with current company matching contributions.

2017 Contribution Limits

The IRS has formally announced the 2017 contribution limits for retirement plans.

  • You may contribute up to $18,000 in 2017.
  • If you are or will be age 50 by December 31, 2017, a catch-up provision allows you to contribute an additional $6,000 in 2017.
